What I love about the web is the opportunity to share my thoughts with others. But I also like to hear what others think and to exchange ideas.

On this page, I'll share some of the comments I've received in my guestbook and via e-mail. Where appropriate, I'll include a link to the original article, review, or interview that provoked the comment. In some cases, I also may respond to the comments.

Legislative update from AWFNJ - S1515/A2698 (sponsored by Senators James Cafiero and Diane Allen and Assemblymen Nicholas Asselta and John Gibson) upgrades acts of intentional animal cruelty from a disorderly persons offense to a crime of the fourth degree. It was released from the Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee on Feb. 26, and awaits a vote in the Senate & Assembly before it can go to the Governor for his signature. Contact Governor Donald DiFrancesco (Office of the Governor, State House, PO Box 001, Trenton, NJ 08625, 609-292-6000, fax 609-292-3454, e-mail http://www.state.nj.us, go to "Contact the Governor") and Assembly Speaker Jack Collins (856-769-3633, fax 856-769-0049, e-mail AsmCoillins@njleg.state.nj.us) and ask to see S1515/A2698 posted for a vote as soon as possible.
